Hello everyone hope you had a lovely new years eve. I know I did I stayed in eating ice cream watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix (I'm kind of addicted to that show now). Today we are going to be taking a look at The Body Shop's Matte Lip Liquid. Now I've seen this a lot on their Twitter and thought why not give it a good go.
I really like The Body Shop's different skin care ranges and their gift sets are really nice too. So I got three shades from the 12 shade range. The price is originally £6.00 but I got them in the sale 40% off at £3.60 each (not sure if this sale is still on). I got Crete Carnation 030, Tahiti Hibiscus 016 & Sicily Iris 019.
The Matte Lip Liquid is a cream matte consistency the first thing I thought when I tried the product is it reminded me of Collection's Cream Puff which I really like.
The Lipsticks have doe foot applicators and all smell kind of sweet. I like the way they apply. They apply very smoothly, they don't feel tacky, drying or uncomfortable. They are not food or kiss proof which is to be expected as they are a cream formula.
I didn't use any kind of lip liner with these but you could if you wanted to.
I really like how these apply Crete Carnation 030 & Tahiti Hibiscus 016 are very even however Sicily Iris 019 (the purple one) is a little harder to get completely even. I find a lot of darker lipsticks are harder to get even. The wear on them is not all day you may have to top up but I can have a drink and my lipstick still looks A ok.
Overall I really like these Like these lipsticks if you thought about trying them out you totally should there are many more shades to choose from.
